Justice for AKA and Tibz | SA requests extradition of two suspects in Eswatini

JOHANNESBURG - The Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services confirms that Minister Ronald Lamola has approved and transmitted a request by South Africa to the Kingdom of Eswatini, for the extradition of two people suspected of involvement in the murder of AKA and Tibz.

Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande are currently in Eswatini, where they await extradition to South Africa to stand trial.

The request is made in terms of a 1968 Extradition Treaty between South Africa and Eswatini.

The justice ministry says it's ready to give its full cooperation.

Meanwhile, two other suspects are appearing in court today for a bail application.

Legal expert Zola Majavu says the ministry is on the right track.
