MATATIELE, Eastern Cape - South Africa seems unable to get to grips with incidents of gender based violence, and child abuse.
The rape of 7-year-old Cwecwe, reportedly at her school in the Eastern Cape, has sparked outrage.
Unfortunately, hers is not the only ordeal in Matatiele.

Two other pupils from Vuka Rise private school have also been raped.
And shoddy police investigations have made the problem worse for the victims and their families.
