FLEURHOF, JHB - Police vow to find those responsible for Jayden-Lee Meek's death.
Emotions ran high earlier, when Fleurhof community members marched on the local police station, demanding justice for the 11-year-old.
The boy's body was found in front of his mother’s apartment unit on Wednesday.
As the investigation into the death of Jayden-Lee continues, his mother Tiffany is still looking answers and reasons to why her son was murdered.
The police have asked the community to give them space as investigations on this case have reached advanced stages.
A friend and classmate of Jayden-Lee has shared fond memories of the 11-year-old.
He says his late friend will always hold a special place in his heart and they had hoped to travel the world together some day.

Jayden-Lee has been described as a boy who always shared jokes and funny stories.
The friend says he would have done anything to help Jayden-Lee and possibly prevent his demise.
