JOHANNESBURG - Justice minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi has called for an urgent meeting with Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO)and police over the late ambassador to France Nathi Mthethwa's death.
Kubayi wants repatriation and deployment of South African Police Service (SAPS) investigators expedited.
On Friday, Police Minister Firoz Cachalia, said a team of investigators will be sent to France to assist police there with the probe.

The Democratic Alliance has since welcomed the SAPS deployment in France.
DA MP Dianne Kohler Barnard says she hopes the probe will uncover the truth behind Mthethwa’s passing, adding that his death should not be in vain.
Mthethwa died in Paris last week after falling from a hotel window.
The circumstances around his death and are still unclear and it's still unknown when his body will be repatriated.
