BLOEMFONTEIN - The late Mosiuoa Lekota's funeral details are yet to be finalised.
Acting COPE leader Teboho Loate said the party will on Friday meet with the family and government officials to determine the way forward.
"Senior members who have to make a decision in terms of the family are arriving today [Thursday]. So we'll be presenting to them what we have been discussing so that then we get things going," said Loate.
Lekota died on Wednesday in a Johannesburg hospital at the age of 77. His remains arrived in Bloemfontein on Thursday.
