Man accused of shooting and killing WSU student denies admitting guilt

MTHATHA - The bail application for the man accused of killing a Walter Sisulu University student conitnues.

The investigating officer has told the court that Manelisi Mampane confessed, saying he was willing to do the time for the crime.

But, Mampane now disputes that this is what he told Colonel Mandla Miya. Mampane is accused of shooting at students, and killing Sisonke Mbolekwa during a protest.

The bail application has been postponed to Thursday when final arguments are expected to be delivered.
