PRETORIA - Gauteng police have arrested a suspect in connection with a murder of a 35-year-old woman that was found buried in a shallow grave in Pretoria.
The woman is believed to have been lured by this man through a dating app.
This is the fifth body to be discovered within the areas of Silverton and Eesterust.
Four of the bodies were discovered burnt, three were found between June and July 2025 and the fourth was found on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Brenda Muridili says they are investigating if the man is linked to the other four bodies.
For now, the suspect is only being charged in connection with the fifth body.
Police spokesperson, Brenda Muridili says the suspect had fled to Limpopo but was brought back to Gauteng and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
