VOSLOORUS - Mazwi Kubheka could not be tracked using his cellphone because it was taken when he was abducted.
"We could not use that technology in terms of trace and location because there was no cellphone in his possession," said Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni.
Kubheka had been missing since 2 April. His family suspected he was kidnapped by rival spaza shop owners.
