Mbalula: ANC fired Zuma because of NPA charges

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC fired former President Jacob Zuma as he was going to be charged in a matter of weeks.

That was revealed by ANC Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula, in an interview with eNCA's Siphamandla Goge.

Mbalula says Zuma's reign was a painful one for the ANC as it made them out to be a bunch of liars.

Mbalula has come under fire after he told a party gathering that ANC MPs lied under oath for Jacob Zuma.

Mbalula admitted they knew the "firepool" at Zuma's homestead in Nkandla was in fact a swimming pool.
