Meyiwa murder accused says he confessed to 'save his life'

PRETORIA - One of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial says he only cooperated with police to save his life.

Muzi Sibiya is the first witness to be called by the defense in the trial within a trial.

He’s contesting a confession he made in May 2020, insisting it was not made freely and voluntarily.
