MK Party accuses IEC of playing politics

JOHANNESBURG - The Umkhonto weSizwe Party says it is seeking legal advice following the Constitutional Court's instruction that it must file answering affidavits in an appeal case brought to the court by the IEC.

The IEC approached the Apex Court following the electoral court's ruling allowing former President Jacob Zuma to stand for public office in next month's general elections.

The MK party says its concerned that the IEC is now playing politics.
