JOHANNESBURG - uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) says it is engaging in the anti-migrant movement organisation, March and March
The Jacob Zuma-led party said while it has not formally endorsed March and March, it believes that there is a need for such movements to exist.
MK Party spokesperson, Sifiso Mahlangu, said undocumented migrants are one of the country’s major problems.

"Our chairman, Nkosinathi Nhleko, has met the leadership of March and March and will do so again in the upcoming week. Safe to say that we recognise the work that they do in society, and we recognise their need to exist because this current crisis must be resolved.
"Because their stronghold is in KZN, and that is where our stronghold is, we got the highest vote in KZN. The people of KwaZulu-Natal really believed and endorsed uMkhonto weSizwe Party.
"And it is for that reason that we have an interest in the province's safety, security and the province's prosperity."
Mahlangu reiterates that those who are in the country must be legal and if not, they must leave the country.
