DURBAN - The Human Settlements Department says it's looking for suitable land to build homes for families displaced by the recent floods.
It's also collaborating with the eThekwini Municipality on plans to house the most vulnerable people during severe weather events.
So far 160 people from Lamontville have been moved to temporary accommodation.
