JOHANNESBURG - A new witness is expected to take the stand when the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes.
This after the cross-examination of lead investigator, Bongani Gininda, was suspended,
to allow the state to provide Advocate Charles Mnisi with vehicle tracking records.

Mnisi, who represents accused 1 and 3, has told the court the evidence is crucial and he cannot proceed without it.
Meanwhile, he wants to recall two state witnesses, including key witness, Constable Sizwe Zungu.
But the state is expected to oppose his request.
