JOHANNESBURG - Forensic Investigator Paul O'Sullivan says the KZN police commissioner is trying to silence whistleblowers.
It comes after Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi filed a R5 million damages lawsuit against him.
The KZN police chief alleges O'Sullivan's statements in the media were designed to defame him. O'Sullivan had demanded Mkhwanazi's removal after he made damning allegations.

Mkhwanazi claimed criminal syndicates were using politicians to interfere with police investigations.
O'Sullivan says he's ready to bring his own evidence against Mkhwanazi to the Madlanga Commission.
