EASTERN CAPE - The National Prosecuting Authority will appeal the not guilty verdict in Nigerian Pastor, Timothy Omotoso's trafficking and sexual assault case.
Omotoso and his two co-accused were acquitted on a technicality last month.
The judge ruled the prosecution mishandled parts of the case and failed to properly cross-examine the accused.

The trio faced over 30 serious charges - including rape, human trafficking, and racketeering.
Since their arrest in 2017, the case was marred by delays, appeals, and legal challenges - even reaching the Constitutional Court.
The NPA believes there are reasonable prospects of a successful appeal.
It believes the judge erred in certain of her findings.
