JOHANNESBURG - The High Court in Pretoria has granted a R144 million forfeiture order to the NPA's Asset Forfeiture Unit, to recover stolen government land.
Special Investigating Unit investigations found several high value properties, including farms in Randjesfontein and plots in Hyde Park and Hurlingham, were fraudulently transferred to individuals and private entities.

The land will now be returned to the State and frozen funds will be deposited into the Criminal Asset Recovery Account.
