JOHANNESBURG - Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee probing bombshell claims from KZN police boss Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is receiving a progress report on its readiness for hearings.
The meeting will be held virtually after the Committee finalised the terms of reference last month.
It's investigating allegations of corruption, meddling in investigations and collusion with criminal cartels.
The Committee has until October to deliver its report to the National Assembly.
The claims sparked chaos in the police, leading to the placing of Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on leave.
Meanwhile, the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry is still waiting to begin its public hearings.
