Police officer shot dead after gunmen storm jewellery stores at KZN mall

DURBAN - A police officer has died after armed robbers struck at the Pavilion shopping centre in Durban Sunday evening.

The robbers allegedly targeted two jewellery stores.

Garrith Jamieson of ALS Paramedics says several people were wounded.

Police are pursuing the robbers.

eNCA reached out to the SAPS in Kwazulu-Natal, however they cannot comment as it is still an active crime scene.
