Power outage | Various Joburg suburbs still without power

JOHANNESBURG - Some residents of Randburg and surrounding areas are waking up this morning to no power. 

Eight wards were without power for several hours yesterday following a power outage at the Delta substation.

Electricity was then restored last night with City Power thanking customers for their patience during the outage.

But patience is running thin this morning as several areas had their power trip once more. Affected areas include parts of Northcliff, Berrario, Honeypark, Auckland Park, Klipfontein, Fairlands, Roodepoort, Parktown and Parkhurst. City Power says operators are working on restoring power fully and are on site investigating the cause of the outages.
