MERAFONG - Merafong City Mayor, Nozuko Best, has delivered her State of the City Address outlining what she says is progress on service delivery.
But the event was not without drama.

Tensions flared outside the Carletonville Civic Centre when protesting community members tried to force their way in to confront the mayor over the sinkhole crisis and service delivery failures.
Police responded with rubber bullets to disperse the crowd.
Community activist, Abie Malefo says they were denied access to the building, when they have grievances that need to be addressed.
