JOHANNESBURG - As mop-up operations continue in areas hit by this week’s severe weather, more rain is expected today and into the weekend.
The South African Weather Service has issued a level 4 warning.
Torrential rains have battered several parts of the country, damaging infrastructure and disrupting schools in some areas.

The provinces most affected are Gauteng, KZN, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and the North West.
At least 7 people have died in KwaZulu-Natal due to devastating mudslides, which have destroyed both formal and informal structures and one person in the North West
Earlier this week, a tornado tore through parts of Tshwane, displacing over 15 families.
