Santaco headed to court over impoundments

CAPE TOWN - Santaco is not ruling out another strike in Cape Town.

The taxi organization says in the event they do, they will give enough notice should they withdraw their services.

This comes after the City of Cape Town impounded several minibus taxis over the last few days.

Santaco's spokesperson Rebecca Phala said, "largely stakeholders from our end inclusive of concerned parties which would also include community members."

"We're having a variety of these meetings so you would have some that are on a high level which are looking at the interdicts and you have some by other leaders who are also looking at the reality of the matter on the ground."
