SANTACO warns against violence after e-hailing operator killed

JOHANNESBURG - The SA National Taxi Council (SANTACO) is warning against violence in the transport sector.

This after a deadly attack on e-hailing operators in Pimville, Soweto.

It says dialogue is the only way to resolve differences between taxi and e-hailing operators.

Meanwhile, Gauteng Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela met with stakeholders and is pleading for calm. 

Residents forced Maponya Mall to close as they protested against the deadly attack.
