SA’s water crisis | Taps remain dry after Honeydew repair work

JOHANNESBURG - While repair work to a pipe at the Honeydew reservoir has been completed, residents' water woes are not over just yet. 

Joburg Water says its Honeydew reservoir is now supplying in bypass mode following those repairs.

Practically, what this means is that taps remain dry for some residents and businesses.

In a statement, Joburg Water says the Olivedale reservoir is low while the Honeydew reservoir is supplying in bypass mode, while anticipating an improvement in supply to affected residents.
