Scorching temperatures to persist until Tuesday

JOHANNESBURG - Heatwave conditions in various parts of the country are expected to persist until Tuesday as Stage 6 blackouts continue countrywide.

The SA Weather Service has also issued another Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with possible damaging winds for parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Residents there can expect to be battered by heavy rain and hail in places.
