Disaster teams on high alert in KZN 1

DURBAN - The SA Weather Service is warning of still more disruptive downpours in KwaZulu-Natal today. It has issued a level five alert.

Disaster teams are on high alert along the coastal areas of the province. eThekwini and other districts are expected to be affected.

Cogta spokesperson, Siboniso Mngadi says they will remain on high alert as the province has placed prevention measures to avoid further disasters.

Search operations have been halted as more heavy downpours are expected.
