JOHANNESBURG - Police in Gauteng have launched a manhunt for a man that killed two police officers in Florida.
The officers were shot while transporting the suspect from Roodepoort Magistrate's Court.
Jabulani Thabang Moyo, is being sought for the killing of the two detectives and stealing their firearms. He was appearing on charges of armed business robbery.
Police confirm that Moyo was able to escape using a police vehicle which was later found abandoned.
Investigation into the incident continues as it is yet unclear whether the suspect had managed to overpower and kill the officers alone or he had assistance.
