Taxi violence | War continues between Wata and Nanduwe Associations

JOHANNESBURG - No solution in sight in the never-ending fight between Soweto taxi associations, Wata and Nanduwe.

Gauteng Transport MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela met with the associations again on Thursday but with little success because the two parties are still unable to reach an agreement.

The department is offering e-hailing services as an option before the more drastic step of terminating their operating permits.

However, commuters have expressed concern and urged the MEC to seek a better solution.
