LICHTENBURG, NORTH WEST - Power struggles, political chaos, and a town left in limbo.
Two mayors, both claiming the top seat, reported for duty this week — one refusing to step down, the other backed by the ANC.

Mazwi Moruri, who was elected last month, insists he is the legitimate mayor and says claims that he resigned are false.
Molefe Morutse claims he was deployed by the ANC in the province to run Ditsobotla Municipality.
Now, the provincial government is investigating.
But, as Manqoba Mchunu reports, it's the residents of Lichtenburg in North West who are paying the price.
