JOHANNESBURG - The UN Security Council has issued a statement calling for the withdrawal of M23 rebels from eastern DRC.
Further more Rwanda is urged to cease its support for the group.
This comes as international community is focused on the Democratic Republic of the Congo .

All of this happens while South Africa lays to rest its soldiers who lost their lives in the ongoing conflict in that country.
Reacting to this international relations analyst, Patrick Kadima, this call by the UN is important because for the first time, it is unified.
As to whether the M23 rebels will yield to this call Kadima said it remains to to be seen.
