PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry into criminality, political interference and corruption, in the criminal justice system resumes.
On the witness stand is Lt Gen Dumisani Khumalo, the SAPS divisional commander for Crime Intelligence.
Khumalo is giving a critical testimony before the commission that has already heard of bitter power struggles at the top.
Several witnesses alleged that Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, and Deputy National Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya may have overstepped their authority.
