CAPE TOWN - Parliaments adhoc committee nominating a new Public Protector has concluded interviewing the eight shortlisted candidates.
They include acting public protector Kholeka Gcaleka, Tumi Mmusinyane, Muvhango Lukhaimane and Olivier Josie.
Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s fate now lies in the hands of the National Assembly.
The committee set up to look into her fitness to hold office has recommended that she be removed from her position.
