WATCH | Zizi Kodwa updates on 2021 World Anti-Doping Code

JOHANNESBURG - Minister of Sport Zizi Kodwa is giving an update on what is being done by the government to ensure that they comply with the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code.

The World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) Compliance Review Committee recommended that the current South African legislation is non-compliant and needs to be updated by the 14th of October.

If South Africa fails to comply by the said date then the Springboks run the risk of not playing under the national flag in their Rugby World Cup quarterfinal encounter against France on Sunday.

The same fate could also happen to the Proteas men's team who face the Netherlands in their Cricket World Cup encounter on Tuesday in India.
