KWAZULU-NATAL - Judge Nkosinathi Chili is expected to deliver judgment on former president Jacob Zuma’s application for leave to appeal a ruling on state prosecutor, Advocate Billy Downer.
The High Court in Pietermaritzburg already rejected Zuma's request to have Downer removed from the Arms Deal corruption case.

Zuma argues that Downer is biased and that his continued involvement in the case will deny him a fair trial.
The State is opposing the application.
Zuma is charged with corruption, racketeering, money laundering and fraud related to the 1999 Arms Deal.
