ATHLONE - Two men have been shot dead in Athlone, killed within minutes of each other and just meters apart.
One was gunned down outside the magistrate’s court, the other roughly 200 metres away.
It marks the third shooting outside the court this year.
Witnesses say they heard several gunshots before seeing one of the men collapse to the ground
