JOHANNESBURG - Voting day for South Africans is in just 36 days. 

The number of voting districts has been raised to 148 by the Independent Electoral Commission.

The number of new voter registrations has surpassed 400,000, bringing the total number of registered voters to 27.4 million. 

IEC vice chairperson Janet Love discussed the organisation's level of preparedness for the elections with eNCA.
