2024 elections | DA's call for international observers rejected

JOHANNESBURG - The DA is under fire for its request to the West for help in monitoring the upcoming elections. 

The party has written to the US and the European Union asking for independent observers to monitor the 29 May election. 

The ANC says the DA is putting South Africa’s sovereignty on a platter.
