JOHANNESBURG - Former President Jacob Zuma has won his case against the IEC.
Zuma and his party, uMkhonto WeSizwe, challenged the Electoral Commission's decision to have him removed from its list of candidates eligible to contest the elections.
The IEC argued that Zuma's jail sentence bars him from entering the race.
While Zuma's lawyers argued that the IEC had also failed to take into consideration Zuma’s remission of sentence.
Legal Expert, Zola Majavu had a discussion with the eNCA on this case's outcome.
