80% of employees feel stress at work

JOHANNESBURG - It’s the first week of December and many are feeling exhausted.

The final push towards year-end often feels like running a marathon at sprint speed.

We cross the finish line depleted and then expect a week or two of leave to magically restore us.

So, what is the most effective way of tackling work-related stress?

Emotional Quotient leader coach and culture strategist Anja van Beek said research shows people work more than 50 hours a week.

"We can definetly see that people want to finish the year strong," she said.
