Administrator appointed following NSFAS board dissolution

JOHANNESBURG - Higher Education Minister Blade Ndzimande has appointed a new administrator to oversee NSFAS.

The organisation's board was dissolved last week and placed under administration.

 Former head of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, Freeman Nomvalo has taken over the role.

The appointment was published in the Government Gazette and signed by Nzimande last Thursday.

 The new administrator will be taking over the governance and management of NSFAS for a period of 12 months.
