MBOMBELA - The ruling African National Congress turns 112 on Sunday but the birthday celebrations will only take place next weekend in Mbombela.
In an election year, the party faces a fierce battle at the polls, with the Multi Party Charter and independent candidates on one side, and the newest challenge internally, from the MK Party led by former president Jacob Zuma.
