JOHANNESBURG - Earlier this month, media reports claimed the ANC’s Integrity Commission had cleared Deputy President Paul Mashatile of wrongdoing.
But the commission says that is misleading and inaccurate.
In a letter to the Sunday Times, Chairperson Frank Chikane explained the Integrity Commission is not a court, and does not clear members.
He says a report was presented to the NEC, but no decisions have been taken yet.
ANC Integrity Commission Chairperson Frank Chikane spoke to eNCA about this.
