JOHANNESBURG - The state of the ANC, its policy direction and government performance come under scrutiny at the National General Council this week.
Members meet in Boksburg on Monday morning.
The NGC is the party's mid-term gathering to review its health and programmes.
Political analyst Dr Mpumelelo Mkhabela said since last year's election, there hasn't been a reflection on what had happened.
Mkhabela said the whole government's performance must come under scrutiny.
"You reflect on both the organisational performance, like party issues, as well as the performance of government," he said.
