JOHANNESBURG - Business Leadership South Africa has described the postponement of the budget speech as a shock.
It says restoring investor confidence should be the first priority.
"The non-delivery of budget doesn't mean that the plans that we have aligned as a country the message that we took to Davos, The business government partnership, the intention that the person aligned at the state of the nation address," BLSA CEO Busisiwe Mavuso said.
"The fact that South Africa started 2025 on such strong footing none of that is now undermined or taken away by the fact we didn't deliver the budget, it's just says that we just need to resolve some issues internally."
