Budget 2025 | Tax Justice SA calls for zero increase on sin taxes

JOHANNESBURG - Tax Justice South Africa is calling on Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana not to increase sin taxes.

He says government should instead prioritise addressing rampant illicit trade of alcohol and tobacco products.

It says this costs the country over R100-billion in tax revenue yearly.
