Budget 3.0 | Civil society demand more from budget

JOHANNESBURG - Civil society groups are not convinced the budget adequately addresses inequality, service delivery and the needs of vulnerable communities.

But there is a bit of good news. Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has confirmed funding increases for early childhood development, and old age grants.

But with low economic growth, the country's finances and debt are a cause for worry.
