City of Ekurhuleni finances in the spotlight

EKURHULENI - Opposition parties are threatening to take action against the City of Ekurhuleni following an outstanding 2023 Auditor-General’s Report On the Consolidated Financial Statements for metro.

The MMC for finance says they're yet to receive the report from the AG which speaks about the metros. Annual financial expenditure performance and audit outcome but claims the City's finances haven't collapsed.

The move lives the City in the dark about it's financial performance and how it's money was spent.
