City Power crackdown | Court orders customer to pay over R2m plus legal costs

JOHANNESBURG - City Power is taking debt matters to another level.

It's not only switching off electricity to buildings defaulting on payments, but also taking them to court.

In one case, a landlord who owed R2.9-million was ordered to pay back every cent.

To make it worse it was also ordered to pay City Power's legal fees.
