JOHANNESBURG - The current state of the Comrades Marathon Association can be likened to the condition of a first-time runner of the ultramarathon the following morning.
The organisation is experiencing severe governance and administrative aches.
Five days ago, CMA confirmed the resignation of four board members; Mqondisi Ngcobo, Leslie Burnard, Kerwin Basson and Pumlani Ntuli, with immediate effect.
Online harassment, cyberbullying and defamation is said to have played a huge role in the board members decision to resign.
Joining us to help us understand what is happening is CMA Elder and interim chairperson Jeff Minnaar.
